Cookie policy

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This page lists every cookie brandz.tech uses, and shows how to change your choice.
On this page
The short version
We use one cookie to remember your choices. We use Google Analytics cookies only if you accept analytics, and Meta Pixel cookies only if you accept marketing. Both stay off until you turn them on.
Every cookie we use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
brandz_consent | Brandz | Remembers your choices for analytics and marketing cookies, so we do not ask on every page. Necessary. | 6 months |
_ga | Google Analytics | Tells visits apart, so we can count visitors without knowing who they are. Only if you accept. | 400 days |
_ga_G154MBDGQK | Google Analytics | Keeps track of your current visit. Only if you accept. | 400 days |
_fbp | Meta | Tells visits from the same browser apart, so Meta can measure which of our ads bring requests. Only if you accept marketing. | 90 days |
_fbc | Meta | Remembers that you arrived by clicking one of our Facebook or Instagram ads (the fbclid tag in the address). Set only when you arrive from an ad, and only if you accept marketing. | 90 days |
Durations are the longest a cookie can last. Google asks for 2 years, and browsers shorten that (Chrome stops at 400 days). You can delete any cookie at any time in your browser settings.
When the pixel sends an event, your browser may also send Meta the cookies it already holds for facebook.com, such as fr if you use Facebook. Meta sets and controls those, as Meta's cookie policy explains.
Necessary and optional
- Necessary:
brandz_consent. The site needs it to respect your choices, so it is set even when you reject. It holds your two answers, for exampleanalytics:granted|marketing:denied. - Optional, analytics: the Google Analytics cookies. They are set only after you accept analytics, and deleted if you later turn it off.
- Optional, marketing: the Meta cookies. They are set only after you accept marketing, and deleted if you later turn it off.
Other things in your browser
- Session storage. If you accept analytics or marketing, we remember the tag of the link that brought you (such as
srcorutm_source) until you close the tab, so a request you send from another page still tells us which ad brought you. - Anti-spam check. When you start typing in our form or use the assistant, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are a person. It sets no cookies.
- YouTube videos. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. We use YouTube's privacy enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Once you press play, YouTube may store player settings in your browser.
How to change your choice
Press Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. You can turn Analytics and Marketing on or off one by one, or accept or reject both at once. If you turn one off after accepting it, we stop that tool at once and delete its cookies.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
